Hey TeamTV!

I hope this finds you all safe and well during these surreal times. I wanted to let you all know straight away that something MASSIVE is going on, and if there were EVER a time that Tony needed us on his TEAM, it is NOW! It’s time to rally the troops! As you all know, due of the pandemic, the arts industry is currently under threat. Gigs have been cancelled left and right, and theatre’s have been dark for months with no signs of realistic recovery in sight.  Artists and actors who have spent years honing their craft are being hit badly—they are in career crisis, they are stressed, struggling and scrambling to keep themselves, and their families afloat during this lengthy intermission, and that includes our dear Tony.

Tony moved back to Nashville at the top of 2019 with the plan being to look for ways to return to being a recording artist—to release NEW solo music. With the pandemic forcing all LIVE performances to be cancelled indefinitely, his creative focus is now to pull the trigger in that direction and set up his own boutique recording studio SoundShop370

BUT...there’s a problem. Tony can’t build this recording studio without our help!! This is a HUGE project and it’s going to take EVERYONE being onboard—supporters, donors, patrons and investors, to bring this project to fruition. A real TeamTV effort!

Please check out Tony’s GoFundMe campaign to see what is fully involved! The new recording studio will not only allow Tony to produce his own solo music again, but it will allow him to produce other artists who want quality music at an affordable cost. The studio will ALSO have a unique philanthropic arm which will support non-profit organisations that focus on helping young people through music too! So, your gift to this campaign, will give forward ten-fold—“the gift that keeps on giving” so to speak. And, if THAT wasn’t enough, there will be campaign updates to keep you in the loop, and there are some cool incentives to thank you for your contribution too!

This isn’t a campaign for you to read and for someone else to get involved with. Tony needs YOU—his loyal supporters. He needs your contribution and he needs you to share this campaign far and wide on social media. I know it’s a big ask to donate to this—I know. Everyone is still affected by the pandemic in some way or other, BUT, if you CAN donate, know that you’ll be doing SO MUCH GOOD to help protect the future career of an incredibly talented artist who has given SO MUCH JOY to others over the years, whether that be through listening to his records, or through gigs and stage performances worldwide.

Aside from insights into his personal life on social media, many of you may only know Tony as ‘the professional’ — as an actor, singer, performer. You won’t know Tony ‘the person’, but let me tell you, this GEM OF A HUMAN has the biggest heart, and operates ‘behind the scenes’ with an immeasurable amount of passion to help others. On a personal level, Tony has gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life. Whether it’s been my own run in with COVID-19 a few months ago, or my brother’s battle and subsequent passing from cancer—Tony never left my side in either situation, and I honestly don’t know where I would be without him now.

Whether our connection with Tony is on stage, or off, we now have an opportunity to show him our love, support and appreciation in a much bigger way than ever before. I’m sure you’ll agree, he totally deserves this break!

In this current situation of tragedy, contagion and social indifference, music can be restorative, empowering, and therapeutic; these are indisputable, time-tested truths, so lets show him WHO WE ARE, TeamTV, let’s reach out, get involved, and help Tony achieve his goal, his dream—to continue to produce music that will heal this crazy world, and impact people for good!

Thank you all for hearing my heart, and for your continued support. Let’s hope the next newsletter I send out will be the announcement of the opening of SoundShop370 and the pre-release of that next kick-ass solo record!

Stay safe everyone!

“I know a lot of artists say they have the best fans around...but, that’s probably only because they haven’t been introduced to mine.”  Tony Vincent.

In gig news, Tony took on the role of Dr. Frank N. Furter--Transylvania's "sweetest transvestite" in a concert version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show which took place at the Pioneer Theatre, Salt lake City this past October.  He gave a fabulous and flamboyant performance of the mad scientist wearing fish net stockings and 4 1/2" heels!  Thankfully, no bones were broken during the three performances and he went down a storm with the audience and press!  Broadway World, in their review of the show, said "The company scored a major coup to cast Tony Vincent as Dr. Frank N. Furter, who was transported from the planet Transsexual in the Transylvanian galaxy. The breakout star from "The Voice" has played lead Broadway roles in epic rock musicals - including Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and St. Jimmy in "Green Day's American Idiot" - and is one sweet transvestite. He has a commanding stage presence and a colorful rock 'n' roll powerhouse voice to make even the throwaway "Planet Schmanet" memorable. Vincent brings flamboyant menace and an appealing snarl to the role."  Here's some photos and video from the show.  Photo Credit: Brent Uberty.

Tony is in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the moment.  Three nights ago (Dec 7) he performed a one-off gig with the talented students of Broadway Street.  He sang "High And Dry" and "Creep" by Radiohead, and Pink Floyd's anthemic tune "Another Brick In The Wall."  Hopefully we'll get to see some images or video of these performances soon.

Tony will be hitting the stage next in Philadelphia on New Year's Day!  So, if you're in the locality, then head to The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts for the annual Philadelphia Mummers Parade where you'll not only see Tony rockin' the stage, but also the students from the Broadway Dreams Foundation will be performing hits from Annie The Musical, Motown the Musical, Kinky Boots on Broadway, Cinderella the Musical, Newsies, and Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage.  The day will also feature activities for kids, face painters, balloon artists and more!

Also, in 2015, (March / April), Tony is set to star in a show which he has been involved with developing for a couple of years.  "The 12", a rock musical--takes one of the most well known stories in history and explores one of the least known and most intriguing aspects of it: how twelve ordinary individuals torn apart by the unthinkable death of their leader came together to create one of the most powerful movements ever known to mankind.  With Tony starring in it, and an original, authentic classic rock music score created by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan (All the Way, The Kentucky Cycle) and award-winning composer Neil Berg (Grumpy Old Men, Prince and the Pauper), it's bound to be EPIC!  Check out events for more info on both these upcoming performances!

Things are changing and growing over on with the addition of lots of things at the moment--from audio interviews, video interviews, press articles, photos, to Tony's ENTIRE newsletter archive dating back to 1997!  --yeah, I know, crazy!  It's a mammoth task, and it's going to take a bit of time to add them all, but there are some great "reads" amongst them --interesting, thought provoking and articulate newsletters from Tony's past with messages as relevant now, as they were back then.  I'll share them with you soon.  Talking of newsletters, if you haven't read Tony's latest newsletter, then check it out here and be sure to sign up to hear his future news first (for FREE) directly to your email inbox!

Sending each of you my very best wishes and thanks for supporting TTV through another year.  Please keep spreading the word and I look forward to seeing you all at a TV gig somewhere in 2015!

(A fist salute and tribute to Tony Vincent on his Birthday today)

Encores! Off-Center is gearing up to present a real treat that is guaranteed to grab the attention and interest of all US based Tony Vincent fans!!

Randy Newman's Faust is to appear for one-night-only as part of it's 2014 season!  The star studded cast includes Tony Vincent, Michael Cerveris and Laura Osnes, with Grammy, Oscar and Emmy award winner Randy Newman playing the Devil in the concert at the New York City Center’s Mainstage on July 1. The show will be directed by Thomas Kail and choreographed by Marcos Santana. Along with Vincent as "Henry Faust", Cerveris as "Angel Rick", Osnes as "Margaret", and Newman, the production's cast will also include Isaiah Johnson (Peter and the Starcatcher) as Lord, Vonda Shepard (TV's Ally McBeal) as Martha, Brooklyn Shuck as Angel Child and Broadway Inspirational Voices.

A darkly comic modern-day take on the Faust story, Randy Newman's Faust was first seen in 1993. In Newman's retelling, God and the Devil fight for the soul of Henry Faust, a student at the University of Notre Dame. The musical played at both San Diego’s La Jolia Playhouse and Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, as well as being released as an album with Newman as the Devil, James Taylor as Lord, Don Henley as Henry Faust, Elton John as Angel Rick, Linda Ronstadt as Margaret and Bonnie Raitt as Martha.

Seasons Greetings to you all!

Whatever you've been doing to celebrate (IF you celebrate), I hope you, and those dearest to you, have had a happy and blessed Christmas.

As we recover from one celebration, our thoughts now turn to another, with "New Year" just a few days away!  If you're still wondering where to go, or what to do on NYE, and happen to live in (or near) Winston-Salem (NC), then I have a REAL treat for you!

Tony Vincent (and others) will be accompanied by the Winston-Salem Symphony at a special NYE  "Plugged-In Pops Series" party which will highlight songs from Broadway’s Rent, Hollywood’s Oscar-winning Moulin Rouge and Puccini’s immortal La bohème.  Jessica Cates, Daniel Stein and Mia Gentile will also be joining the line-up!

This is going to be a SUPERB evening, and a rare opportunity for any fan to get to see Tony perform those powerful and inspirational songs from the rock musical, RENT, again!

Tickets are in high demand, so if you want to be there, then you'll need to act fast!  Tickets and more info about the gig is available now from:

I also want to take the opportunity in this email to thank you all again for your support and encouragement this past year, ESPECIALLY to those who dug deeply into their pockets to contribute to Tony's 40th Birthday "Tattoo" gift card this past July.  Your kind and generous hearts NEVER fail to amaze me.  What a team!!!  Thank YOU.

Please continue to spread his name, his music, and his message wherever you go (promo tips), and I hope to see you all at a "TV" gig, somewhere in 2014!

A very happy and prosperous New Year to you ALL.

Next Monday (November 11, 2013) at 7:30pm, Rockers On Broadway will celebrate it's 20th anniversary at NYC's (le) Poisson Rouge.

An all-star cast of Broadway's finest including Tony Vincent (American Idiot, JCS, We Will Rock You, RENT), Donnie Kehr (Jersey Boys, The Who’s TOMMY, Aida), Norm Lewis (Porgy and Bess, The Little Mermaid, The Who’s TOMMY), Lesli Margherita (Matilda), Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, Side Show, The Who’s TOMMY), Micky Dolenz (“The Monkees”), Constantine Maroulis (Jekyl & Hyde, Rock of Ages, American Idol), and many others will be backed by a full band, performing numbers from the event's first two decades.  The evening will also include special performances by Micky Dolenz and honoree Des McAnuff.

This historic event is significant because it honors two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff and rock legend Pete Townshend, the visionaries behind the award winning production of The Who’s TOMMY, the groundbreaking musical that truly brought rock & roll to Broadway and inspired cast member Donnie Kehr to create Rockers.

Proceeds from this years's event will benefit The ASCAP Foundation's Children Will Listen Program, The Broadway Dreams Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
